Kansas-City Style Baby Back Ribs
America is a land of diversity, and American barbecue is a reflection of that diversity! From the East Coast to the West Coast, regional barbecue styles showcase the unique histories and tastes of the people who live there. Kansas City barbecue takes the best parts of other regional barbecue styles and mixes them together for something truly spectacular. We coat these baby back ribs in a spicy, flavor-packed rub, then we gild the lily with a thick coating of barbecue sauce for maximum caramelization. Serve them up with baked beans, mac’n’cheese, cole slaw, and French fries for an authentic bite of Kansas City!

- Cook Time: 3-4 hours
Ingredients
- 2 (3lb.) racks Baby Back Ribs, membrane removed
- 2 c. Thick Barbecue Sauce
- 1/4 c. Brown Sugar, packed
- 1 tsp. Dried Mustard
- 1 tbsp. Smoked Paprika
- 1 tbsp. Cayenne Pepper
- 2 tsp. Seasoned Salt
- 1 tbsp. Black Pepper
- 1 tbsp. Onion Powder

Instructions
Preheat grill to 225 degrees. Coat rib racks evenly with dry rub, making sure to cover entire surface of ribs. Place racks on grill, bone-side down, and grill covered for 3 to 4 hours, turning rib racks once every hour.
In the last hour of cooking, baste ribs every 20 minutes with barbecue sauce; ribs are done when they are fork tender and caramelized.
When ribs finish, allow to rest for at least 5 minutes before serving.
