Black Cod with Garlic Soy Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 black cod fillets
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 green onions, chopped for garnish
Instructions
Mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil in a bowl to make the sauce.
Heat a pan over medium heat and add a little oil.
Sear the black cod fillets, skin-side down, for 3-4 minutes until crispy.
Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until done.
Add the sauce to the pan and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes to thicken.
Garnish with chopped green onions and serve with rice or vegetables.
