Shady Oak Barrel House

Shady Oak began as a one-human operation in 2014 with a focus on funky, wild and barrel aged beers. When the taproom opened in 2018, owner Steve Doty chose to start developing more approachable styles such as pilsners, stouts, and perhaps the most highly demanded – IPAs, to appeal to a larger audience.

Featured in a beautiful warehouse in downtown Santa Rosa, Shady Oak also has a large outdoor beer garden and prides itself as a place that promotes beer education and support for the local community. All are welcome.
