Apple Juice Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ C. 100% Oliver's Own apple juice
  • 1 ½ lb. Boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a deep stainless steel Pan, over medium heat, bring apple juice to a low boil.

  2. Add in the chicken and sprinkle the meat with salt and pepper.

  3. Lower to a softly bubbling simmer and cover the pan, cooking for 15 minutes.

  4. Flip the chicken over and partially cover the pan, allowing steam to escape, and cook for another 15 minutes, maintaining a softly bubbling simmer.

  5. Cook for another 10-15 minutes, partially covered, until the juice is thick and syrupy, flipping the chicken every 10 minutes.

  6. Watch it closely for the last few minutes, as it can burn quickly. Remove from heat once the chicken is cooked through and the juice resembles honey in consistency.
