Fresh Figs with Ricotta and Honey

  • Serves: 4 servings
  • Prep Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 8 fresh organic Black Mission figs
  • 1/4 cup part-skim ricotta cheese
  • Oliver's Own Wildflower Honey (found in bulk) or your favorite honey
  • sea salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the figs, then make 4 cuts in a cross shape on each fig with a sharp knife from the stem downwards, stopping a 1/4 inch from the bottom.

  2. Place a large spoonful of ricotta in each fig.

  3. Drizzle the top of each fig with honey and sprinkle with salt. Arrange on a plate to serve.
