Holiday Citrus Spritzer

Made with Owari Satsuma Mandarins from Tri-L Ranch ($1.99/lb) and Clementine Vodka ($34.99/ea) from Hanson’s of Sonoma, this easy cocktail is sale two-fer. Sip this cocktail as a brunch alternative to the standard mimosa, or make them the star of any holiday cocktail hour!

Ingredients
- 2 oz. Hanson’s of Sonoma Clementine Vodka
- 2 Owari Satsumas, juiced
- 1 oz. Rosemary Simple Syrup
- Ginger Beer (to top)
- Orange Slices (for garnish)
- Ice
- 4 sprigs Fresh Rosemary, washed
- 2 c. Granulated Sugar
- 2 c. Water
Instructions
To make simple syrup, heat sugar, water, and rosemary sprigs on medium-high, stirring until sugar dissolves. Lower heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 to 6 minutes. Remove from heat, and allow rosemary to steep in syrup for about 1 hour. Strain syrup into a resealable jar, and chill until cold.
Add blood orange vodka, syrup, and juice to a cocktail shaker over ice, and shake vigorously until outside of shaker is frosted. Strain into a wine or Collins glass over ice; top with ginger beer. Garnish with fresh orange slices.
