Pan-Seared Black Cod with Lemon Butter
Ingredients
- 2 black cod fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 lemon (juice and zest)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Season the fillets with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the fillets, skin-side down.
Cook for 3-4 minutes until the skin is crispy.
Flip the fish and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the fish is opaque.
Lower the heat and add butter and lemon juice to the pan.
Spoon the butter sauce over the fish for another 1-2 minutes.
Garnish with lemon zest and parsley before serving.
