Pizza Pasta
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. Ground beef
- 1/2 lb. Bulk Italian sausage
- 1/2 C. Chopped sweet onion
- 4 Cans (8 oz. each) tomato sauce
- 3 oz. Sliced pepperoni
- 1 Tbsp. Sugar
- 2 tsp. Minced fresh parsley or 1/2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
- 2 tsp. Minced fresh basil or 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- 1 Package Oliver's Own Pasta of Choice
- 3 Tbsp. Grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
In a large nonstick skillet, cook beef and sausage with onion over medium-high heat until no longer pink, 5-7 minutes; crumble meat.
Stir in tomato sauce, pepperoni, sugar and herbs; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, until thickened, 20-25 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a 6-qt. stockpot, cook pasta according to package directions; drain and return to pot.
Toss with sauce. Sprinkle with cheese.
